DOMINIC BROWN, CFI/CFII
I grew up in Northern Virginia and moved down to Fredericksburg in high school. I've always been passionate about aviation. When I was nine years old, I took a flight to California to see some family. It was the first time I remember being on an airplane. Everything about it captivated me, and I knew from then on I wanted to fly.
When I was 14 I joined the Civil Air Patrol as a cadet to learn more about aviation. I graduated Stafford High School in 2021 and started flight training a few months after. I did flight training at ATP and at RVA Flyers in Richmond. After working in Richmond for a while, I came to Shannon in August of 2023. I am currently working towards my ATP. My hobbies include playing accordion and mountain biking. My favorite plane is the Pilatus PC-12.
Shannon has since become like a second home to me. I am committed to providing professional instruction and hope to share the beauties and joys of aviation with my students.
BRAD HUGHES, CFI
Originally from northwestern Pennsylvania, I graduated from Penn State with degrees in construction management and construction technology. Before transitioning into aviation, I was employed for 15 years as an arborist, contract climber, and contract trainer in the tree care and forestry industries. I currently reside in King George with my wife and two children. In my free time I am an avid cave and technical diver.
Chris Barulic, CFI
I’m originally from West Palm Beach, FL and grew up at the Jersey shore in Seaside Park, NJ. I received my undergraduate degree from Salisbury University where I played baseball and my MBA from Florida Atlantic University. I am a former PE teacher, coach, and athletic director. In my free time I love fishing, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
GRaham Thompson, CFI/CFII/MEI
I was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, and attended James Madison University, where I pursued a degree in Communications. I decided to get into aviation to present a new challenge for myself, as well as continuing to grow as a person. I enjoy working with others to help achieve their aviation goals! Outside of aviation I enjoy spending time with family and friends and watching sports.

Davis Roberston, CFI
I was born in Alexandria and grew up just outside of Ashland, VA. I started flight training in 2022, and am finishing up my undergraduate in commercial aviation at Liberty University. Outside of flight instructing, I enjoy golfing, spending time with my family, and boating/fishing at lake Anna.
Brian cox, CFI/cfii/mei
I'm originally from West Virginia, I trained at a 141 school in North Carolina two years ago and have flown small airplanes in Maine, Georgia, Florida, Washington and Virginia. I have trained private, instrument, and commercial students and am always looking for the next challenge to overcome. My hobbies include traveling, caving, skiing, rock climbing, and golfing. I previously worked in the medical field assisting eye surgeries.
